Today was my old friend Core Synergistics. I got really really burned out on this workout during P90X Lean. But tonight I learned that I’m now in much better shape while doing it! Banana rolls were accomplished with no cheating hand pushes as were Supermans/Bananas. I can ever almost have my legs completely straight now on Boats. So today’s workout was much motivation to keep going with the program as it’s obviously working.

So yesterday started Week 4, aka “rest” week. But I didn’t really rest too much…can’t stay inside when it’s gorgeous out there. I went for the first run I’ve done in months and months. Only did half a mile so as to not push myself too much and it felt just fine. I also feel just fine today, no soreness except in my sit bones from the mtn biking on Saturday. Gotta kill all those sensitive nerve endings on the bottom of my pelvis (that is my own personal theory of why biking hurts those pointy bone ends at first but then you don’t feel much there when biking regularly).
P90X: Yoga (Ashtanga)
Walking/Running: Walked 30 minutes; Ran 1/2 mile (about 7 minutes)
Climbing: 25 minutes on the wall
Nutrition: The good news is that my stomach is feeling normal again, the other news is that I’m no longer on the P90X diet…just my usual, mostly healthy, one. Calories: 1008 (not much appetite because I was nervous about renewed stomach cramps); 15% protein; 25% fat; 60% carbs (i love veggies)

So my stomach has not been right for almost a week now. I’m going to stop the P90X diet for a few days to see if that helps. Maybe too much soy protein lately is the reason? No Kenpo X today…went climbing instead.
Climbing: 30 minutes

So I’ve been rocking on Legs & Back lately. So much so last week that I was mighty sore for about 4 days afterwards. I backed off slightly today so that I’ll be able to walk normally, unlike last week. I’m also feeling much stronger on the pull-ups so plan to try them with no chair for weeks 6 & 7 to see how that feels/works. If it’s good, I’ll finish out P90X Classic with no chair.
Have not been climbing at all this week, mostly because it’s been bloody cold & rainy. Hope to go tomorrow.

Not sure what happened to me yesterday. Had really sharp stomach pains for about 24 hours. Not fun.
Anyway, back on track today and playing catch up.

First day of week 3! My legs and butt are SO sore still from bringing it a bit too much during Legs & Back last week. Went for a long walk with a friend today to try to stretch things out a bit.
